Robbery takes place at house of PM Imran's nephew

LAHORE: A robbery took place late Friday night at the house of Prime Minister Imran Khan's nephew, according to police.

The prime minister's nephew, Shershah, filed an FIR in which he said three robbers entered his house around 04:00am Friday night. The robbers were able to enter the house as a door was left open by mistake.

The suspects forced Shershah's wife to sign a cheque worth Rs3 million which they took along with jewelry and an old pistol that belonged to his grandfather.

Shershah nominated three unidentified persons in the complaint. Police said the gardener's son was a suspect and he will be arrested soon along with the rest of the culprits.
