Photo: FileISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa on Saturday condemned the attack on the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) and hoped that "better sense will prevail" in the aftermath of the incident. The chief justice spoke about the success of the model courts formed under his leadership.Justice Khosa, while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, said that they realised that the trial court system had died. He added that they thought of ways in which the system could be change from within.The top judge said they focused on two things. Firstly, they changed the rollover system and based the model courts on a continuous hearing system. He added that they put the responsibility on the state to bring witnesses in cases.
